Focus Area
Karen advises Fiduciary’s investment officers and clients’ trusts and estates counsel on trust administration, estate planning and charitable planning matters, with the goal of helping clients achieve their goals and building long-standing relationships. She also oversees the settlement of estates of which Fiduciary Trust is named a personal representative.
Experience
Prior to joining Fiduciary, Karen was a partner in the Trusts & Estates practice at Rubin and Rudman, LLP where she helped individuals and families create tailored estate plans that preserved wealth across generations, minimized transfer tax exposure and helped accomplish their philanthropic goals. Prior to her 13-year tenure at Rubin and Rudman, Karen was a senior associate director of gift planning at Tufts University and worked in the wealth management group at Atlantic Trust Company (now CIBC Atlantic Trust). Karen began her legal career at Palmer & Dodge LLP, where she was an associate in the Private Client Department.
Personal
Karen lives in Weymouth and enjoys reading, traveling and exploring the world of K9 sports with her very energetic dog.
