Smock Joins as VP and Trust Counsel

BOSTON – March 29, 2018 – Fiduciary Trust Company, an advisor and investment management firm for high-net-worth individuals and nonprofits, expanded its estate planning team with the addition of attorney Patricia Schatzlein Smock as Vice President and Trust Counsel.

Smock joins Fiduciary Trust from Cambridge Associates where she advised investment teams on tax matters including gift, estate, partnership, and income tax. Prior to Cambridge Associates, Tricia operated her own estate planning practice. She began her career as an associate attorney with Ropes & Gray’s Private Client Group. At Fiduciary Trust, Smock will counsel clients in the areas of tax, trust, and estate planning.

Smock earned a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Northwestern University and graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. degree from the Duke University School of Law.
