Jody King, Vice President and Director of Client Services, and Thanda Brassard, Vice President & Trust Counsel, were recognized as Five Star Professionals in the February 2018 issue of Boston Magazine.
The Five Star Professionals Award is based on research with peers, firms, and consumers, and goes to individuals who provide exceptional service in their respective fields. This is the third year Ms. King has received the award, and the second year Ms. Brassard has been recognized.
Jody King is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Massachusetts Bar, a Registered Life Planner, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She is also a member of the Boston and New Hampshire Estate Planning Councils, the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Society of CPAs, the Institute for Divorce Analysts and the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs.
Ms. King serves on the Board of Directors for the Beverly Education Foundation and is a past President of the Board of Trustees of Glen Urquhart School where she continues to serve on its Investment Committee. In her role as Director of Client Services at Fiduciary Trust, she integrates estate and financial planning with wealth management to create custom, comprehensive plans that help clients achieve their goals.
Thanda Brassard serves as Vice President and Trust Counsel, as well as General Counsel of Fiduciary Trust’s New Hampshire affiliate, Fiduciary Trust of New England. She is a member of the American, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Boston and New Hampshire Estate Planning Councils, and the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts. Ms. Brassard is a trustee of Judge Baker’s Children’s Center, and president and trustee of the Frederic E. Weber Charities Corporation.
In her roles at Fiduciary Trust, she focuses on advising individuals and families on their estate and tax planning needs, with special expertise in estate settlement and trust administration. Ms. Brassard serves as Chair of Fiduciary Trust of New England’s Trust Committee alongside her role as a member of its board.
