BOSTON – July 19, 2019 – We are pleased to announce that Walter (Bud) Abbott, Investment Officer at Fiduciary Trust of New England, was recently voted to the Board of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. The Council promotes the interests of estate planning professionals through continuing education and thought leadership and is based in Concord, New Hampshire.
Bud joined Fiduciary Trust of New England in 2015. He brings over 18 years of investment management and wealth planning experience for high net worth clients and their families both in retail and institutional capacities. Before his career in the financial services industry, Bud served in the United States Navy for six years and was an active participant in Operation Desert Storm during the Gulf War. During his time in service, he earned seven national medals and three Letters of Commendation.
