Sidhu and Thompson Hires

BOSTON – July 30, 2019 – Fiduciary Trust Company, a wealth advisor and investment management firm for high-net-worth individuals and nonprofits, is pleased to announce the hiring of two new officers. Adam Thompson, CPA, has joined in the newly-created position of Vice President and Head of Finance and Harison Sidhu, CFA, FRM, has assumed the role of Vice President and Head of Manager Research and Due Diligence.

Thompson arrived at Fiduciary Trust after a decade at Boston Private Bank, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at KPMG, LLP. Thompson is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and earned a BS in Accounting and Economics at Boston College where he also received an MS in Accounting from the Carroll School of Management. At Fiduciary Trust, Thompson will report to President & CEO Austin V. Shapard.

Sidhu joins Fiduciary Trust from BlackRock, Inc. where he was a Vice President of Portfolio Solutions. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at Choate Investment Advisors where he served as a member of the firm’s investment committee focusing on quantitative research. At Fiduciary Trust, Sidhu will be a member of the investment committee and report to Chief Investment Officer Hans F. Olsen.

Sidhu is a CFA® charterholder and also holds the Financial Risk Manager designation. He earned a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from the Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He serves as an Advisory Board Member of Babson’s Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance.
