BOSTON – March 15,2017 – Fiduciary Trust Company, a private wealth advisor and investment management firm for high-net-worth families, individuals and non-profits, announced today that Hoa Nguyen has joined the firm as Vice President and Head of External Managers.
Nguyen arrives at Fiduciary Trust from Fidelity Investments, where he was a Principal Fund Research Analyst. Prior to his seven years at Fidelity, Nguyen held senior roles at John Hancock and Metlife. Nguyen began his career at FleetBoston Financials and had also worked at Atlantic Trust Pell Rudman.
Nguyen will oversee Fiduciary Trust’s fund manager selection, employing both a quantitative and qualitative screening process to identify both top-performing funds and emerging managers across various asset classes.

Nguyen received his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University where he received a B.S. in Finance and International Business. He later earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from Suffolk University.
