General Information
1. What is Private View?
Private View is Fiduciary Trust's online account information service. This confidential service allows you to view your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere you have Internet access.
2. What features does Private View offer?
With Private View, you can access your account information, whenever it's convenient, enabling you to:
- View account balances, holdings, transaction activity and tax lots in a summary form and in detail.
- Review your asset allocation.
- Customize account views for a specific time period.
- Download portfolio information into Excel, Word, or a comma separated file, which can be used with popular personal financial management software.
- Review your statements.
3. Which accounts can I view with Private View?
With Private View, you can view all of your Fiduciary Trust accounts. When you enroll, your Account Officer will assist you with selecting the specific accounts you would like to access with Private View. If you wish to change your account selection on Private View, simply call your Account Officer at his or her direct number or at 617-482-5270.
4. How current is the account information on Private View?
Private View information is updated at the end of each business day. When you view your account, you'll see balances and transaction activity as of the prior business day.

Enrollment and Password Information
5. How do I enroll in Private View?
To enroll in Private View, simply contact your Account Officer at his or her direct number or at 617-482-5270.
Once setup, we will send you your id and one-time temporary password via our secure email environment Once you receive your id and password, you can begin using Private View immediately.
6. How do I access Private View?
You access Private View by going to the Fiduciary Trust website at www.fiduciary-trust.com. You then enter your id in the Online Account Access box and click on the Login button.
7. Are login Ids and passwords case sensitive?
Your login Id is not case sensitive. However, your password is case sensitive.
8. Can I change my password?
The first time you log in to Private View, you will be prompted to change the temporary password provided by Fiduciary Trust with a password known only to you. If you wish to change your password at any other time, you may do so online from within Private View by going to My Profile | Change Password.
9. What if I forget my password?
The Private View system will allow you to enter your password three times. For your protection, you will be denied access after your third unsuccessful attempt. When this occurs, you must obtain a new password by calling your Account Officer. We will send you a new one-time temporary password.
10. Can I give another individual, such as my spouse or financial advisor, viewing privileges on my account?
When you enroll in Private View, you will be assigned a single login ID and password for your use only. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this information. Although you may decide to share this information with others, Fiduciary Trust cannot be responsible or held liable for any unauthorized disclosures of your financial information that may result.
11. Can I store my login ID and password on my computer so I don't need to enter them each time?
While select browsers offer users the option to save their login ID and password on their computer, as a security precaution, Fiduciary Trust recommends that you enter your login ID and password each time you access Private View.

Connecting to Private View
12. Can I access Private View from another computer?
You can access Private View from any computer with Internet access and a 128-bit browser. Simply visit Private View at www.fiduciary-trust.com, and enter your login ID and password. To ensure privacy is maintained on your account information, be sure to logout to end your session.
13. Why do I sometimes lose my connection to Private View?
To help prevent unauthorized access to your account information, Private View automatically disconnects after 20 minutes of inactivity. This added security measure would prevent unauthorized users from viewing your account information in the event that you leave your computer.
14. Can I access Private View from outside of North America?
You can access Private View from outside of North America if the computer you are using is equipped with a browser with 128-bit encryption.
15. Why can't I access the Private View login screen?
To help identify you and allow you to navigate the system, Private View utilizes "cookies", or small pieces of information that are sent from Fiduciary Trust to your browser. If you cannot access Private View, the "cookies" on your browser may be disabled. To access Private View, you must set your browser to allow "cookies".

Private View Features
16. What information can I obtain with Private View?
With Private View, you can view:
- Account balances and holdings as of the prior business day and two years of month-ends.
- Information on the quantity, price and market value, as well as tax lot detail for each holding.
- A history of account transactions for two years.
- An online version of your account statements.
17. What types of account inquiries are available through Private View?
To help you review your holdings, transactions and tax lots, Private View offers the ability to view your data at both summary and detail levels. Inquiries available include:
- Holdings Report
- Pending Transactions Report
- Settled Transactions Report
- Tax Lot Report
18. How do I access my balances with Private View?
Once you connect to Private View, you will immediately see your Accounts list, with corresponding market values. In addition to providing market value, the Accounts list can also display YTD Long Term Gain/Loss and Cost values. For additional account details, click on the account, then click on Select Action | Holdings for a complete breakdown of all the holdings in your account.
19. Where can I find my Unrealized Gain/Loss?
Unrealized Gain/Loss can be found in several locations:
- Investment Summary | Accounts
- Holdings Report
- Tax Lots Report
20. How do I view recent account activity?
To view your transactions click on Select Action on the Investment Summary page and choose Pending or Settled Transactions. Pending Transactions displays transactions that have not yet settled. You can choose the date range and grouping method for display of the transactions.
21. Can I update my personal information through Private View?
Although you cannot update your personal information online with Private View, you can send an email or call your Account Officer. From the Investment Summary | Account Relationships pane, you can choose to include the officer and administrator email addresses and phone numbers.
22. How do I print in Private View?
Throughout Private View you will see "Print Preview" icons in each section. Simply click on Print Preview and then click on "Print" in the upper right corner.
23. Can I download my account information into Quicken® or Microsoft® Money?
You can export your account information into a spreadsheet file, which can be used with popular software applications, such as Quicken® or Microsoft® Money. Assuming your Export Type is set to Excel or comma separated file via My Profile | Export Type, click on Export and save the file.
The file is now ready to be viewed from a text editor, such as Notepad, or a spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft® Excel.

Security and Privacy
24. Is Private View secure?
Security is a Private View priority. To ensure you receive the highest level of protection currently available, we've taken the following measures:
- Employing a multi factor security system that includes a login Id, a password, a security image, a security phrase, and a selection of questions and answers known only to you.
- Requiring browsers that utilize 128-bit encryption, the highest level available, to protect information traveling to and from your computer and Fiduciary Trust.
- Monitoring access to Fiduciary Trust's data and information on an ongoing basis.
25. What security precautions should I take?
To maintain the highest level of security while using Private View, we recommend that you take the following precautions:
- Create a password that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to guess. Don't use sequential or repetitive characters or your date of birth or phone number.
- Never reveal your password to anyone.
- Logout each time you complete a Private View session.
26. What is Fiduciary Trust's Privacy Policy?
